FAQ

  • What are your rates?

    53 min- $150

  • Do you accept insurance?

Yes, I currently accept Ascension (SmartHealth), Aetna, Cigna, Carelon Behavioral Health, Quest Behavioral Health. I am also considered an out of network provider for other insurances and am happy to provide a super bill for reimbursement from your insurance company.

  • What methods of payment do you accept?

All major credit cards as well as HSA/FSA.

  • Do you offer virtual sessions?

Absolutely. I use a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform so you can meet from the comfort of your own space.

  • What can I expect the first session?

Our first session is a gentle introduction. We’ll discuss your goals, background, and what brings you to counseling. It’s also a chance to see if we’re a good fit—no pressure, just presence.

  • What if I'm nervous about starting therapy?

That’s completely normal. Many clients feel unsure at first. My role is to walk alongside you with compassion and grace—there’s no “right” way to begin. If you have had a negative experience in counseling before, we will walk through that slowly together.

  • Do you integrate faith or spirituality into sessions?

If it’s meaningful to you, yes. I welcome spiritual themes and offer a space where faith and emotional healing can intertwine. I welcome all individuals regardless of beliefs and will not impose my values or beliefs upon you.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

I understand that life can be unpredictable. If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows me to offer that time to another client who may be waiting for support.

Missed appointments and cancellations made less than 24 hours before your scheduled session may incur a full session fee. Thank you for honoring this policy—it helps me maintain a consistent and supportive space for all clients.

  • How do I reschedule or cancel an appointment?

    Please text, call, or email.
